On a personal note. I haven't been on very much lately, it is good to see all the wonderful art everyone is making. I have been mostly painting on slate for a shop in Pigeon Forge in the Smoky Mtns., along with my sign making. It isn't exactly fine art, but it is an interesting break from making signs. My little girl is growing like a weed, almost out of 3rd grade already. She does great in school, always on the honor roll. I have a little boy now, a little over 8 months, he's a sweety.
My work has been interrupted lately by terrible headaches and my BP has been sky high. I spent the weekend in the hospital. They ran all kinds of tests, and while they didn't exactly find the reason for the spike in BP, they did find a mass on my left kidney, which has a 90% chance of being cancer. The good news is that it should be a relatively easy operation, as operations go. The bad news...it's still an operation, lol, with down time and recovery time that I don't see how I'm gonna do it. My time is already so filled now as it is. But I am not going to complain, it could be much, much worse. As long as nothing goes wrong, I should still be able to see my kids grow up and that is the most important thing.
Once again, it is good to see all your work, and if I dont get to comment on them all, I do look at each and every one of your submissions.
